Fall Projects 2025: Roofing, Exteriors & Whole-Home Cleanouts That Actually Finish
Fall projects generally include renovations and last minute clean outs to be ready for the holidays
Fall is the last big window for roofs, siding, and whole-home cleanouts. Finish clean—no reloads, no refused hauls, no schedule slips.
Choose by material, not by “feel”
- Heavy-only: concrete/brick/dirt/tile/plaster → 10/15 yd or a 25/30 kept flat and pulled on time.
- Mixed reno: drywall + cabinets + some tile → 15 yd (controls weight).
- Bulky/light cleanouts: furniture/cardboard → 20 / 25 / 30 yd.
- Roofing (asphalt): 25 or 30 yd; square-based pull timing (see below).
- Tile/slate roofing: denser than asphalt—expect earlier pulls for the same squares.
Square-based roofing plan (asphalt, single layer)
- ~≤25 squares: 25 or 30 yd (single haul)
- ~26–45 squares: 30 yd (single haul)
- ~46–60 squares: 30 yd (single haul—keep flat at/below rails)
- ~61–80 squares: 30 yd + 1 pull
- >80 squares: Two 30s cycling (2–3 total pulls)
Load once, haul once
- Stage by the door • Lay dense base low/centered • Fill corners light • Latch door • Top lightly • Stop at rail.
- Restricted items never enter the can. If in doubt, park them on a pallet for later.
Massachusetts (MA): Exterior work without rework
- Siding/windows/trim: a 20/25 yd handles bulky, light scrap; keep metal offcuts from cutting liners.
- Masonry & chimney tweaks: go 10/15 yd or keep a 25/30 flat with a defined stop line.
- Tight streets: we’ll set at angles you specify—mark the nose direction and keep vehicles out of the swing path.
Rhode Island (RI): Threading the needle on small lots
- Exact timing. Many streets don’t forgive missed windows—book down to the hour.
- Roofers: run 30s for crew flow and schedule the mid-day pull so nobody heaps.
- Village business districts: expect placement constraints; we’ll bring cones, but you own the footprint.
SWFL / Florida: High-volume exterior work, fast turnarounds
- Door/window programs: 20/25 yd is the sweet spot; strap stacks, don’t puncture liners.
- Tile roofing/exteriors: still use 30 for workflow; call pulls earlier based on squares and mortar weight.
- HOA corridors: pre-approve set/pick windows; we’ll hit them.

Send your squares and scope. Precision Disposal will map pulls so your crews never wait on a can.
